Personal Admin Support
Need help keeping your life and tasks organized? Do you struggle with feelings of anxiety, guilt, or shame around completing simple tasks. You are not alone. Personal admin support is what I call helping people with personal life organization, such as creating to do lists and schedules. Collaboratively discovering what kinds of organizational systems, apps, and lifestyle practices work for you to help relieve overwhelm. I can provide some coaching and suggestions that help you become more self aware about what you are experiencing that causes difficulty. Here are some specific examples of what I can provide:
Body doubling: being a warm presence to provide support and accountability while you work on stressful tasks.
Developing personal organization systems: do you remember things better when you hand write them? Or is it easier for your brain to type into your phone? What is the time frame in which information you take in will be forgotten unless recorded? These are just some of the questions we will explore in determining what kinds of systems will help you stay organized.
Setting up automations: What in your life could be automated and taken off your plate? I can help resource ways to automate things like paying bills, sending emails etc.
Drafting texts and emails: Do you tend to put off important emails and texts that my be difficult to write? My experience in emotional intelligence, effective communication, and non-violent communication can be a support for drafting thoughtful responses.
Momentum support: I can provide accountability and feedback to help you maintain momentum with projects and personal goals.

Do you have a big project coming up, like planning a wedding, and know you will need help staying organized? I can work with you to manage and organize the project from beginning to end.

How does working together look in practice?
We can work synchronously or asynchronously.
Depending on what kind of support you are looking for, it might make more sense to work together at the same time (synchronously), in a virtual meeting. That way I can provide assistance in real time and we can creatively problem solve together. In other cases it may make more sense for you to delegate tasks for me to do on my own (asynchronously) in order to free up more of your time. Note that in order to identify asynchronous tasks we will need to have one or more synchronous meetings together to establish what needs to be done.
We start by looking at what systems are currently in place.
Together we assess what is working and what isn’t. During this process we gather data about you and your needs and work together to identify next steps to fulfilling them. Some concepts that are helpful in identifying what needs to change are: barriers to entry, sunk cost fallacy, actionable items, and net gain. They may sound fancy but they are important in taking steps to simplifying your life and becoming aware of what habits and actions are overcomplicating things.
We explore tools that might be a good fit.
Everyone has their comfort level with technology, both digital and analog. Together we will explore tools new and old that feel like a good fit for you to help you or your business stay organized, simplified, and streamlined. Tools that I use and strongly recommend are Airtable, Google apps such as: drive, forms, sheets, and docs. The Notes app, Reminders app, and more.
Specifics
Unlike traditional coaching, therapy, I work on demand as needed. That means you can hire me once for one hour, or on a recurring basis for support you know you need consistently. At this time I do not offer packages.
I bill by the hour and payment is due immediately following your session. I accept most forms of electronic payment such as Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, and all credit cards. I do not accept insurance.
I kindly ask that any cancellations be made within 48 hours of your session start time using the Calendly link provided in your confirmation email, or by emailing me directly at danica.favorito@gmail.com.
My rate is $40 per hour. I do have a sliding scale for those in financial need which begins at $25 per hour. If you would like to be considered for sliding scale payments, please indicate so by sending me a message via email, or making a comment in the space provided in the scheduling app when you book a session.
